Here is the kind message Gwen sent us:
Stacy,
I just wanted to thank you for such a gorgeous Free Standing Lace heart design! I used it (as suggested on your site) as the basis for a ring-bearer pillow for my son’s wedding (19 Sep 09).I’ve attached a picture of the ring bearer pillow I did using your design. It came out absolutely beautiful, if I do say so myself. As you can see, I added the bride and groom’s names (Erin and Jody) and the date of their wedding (19 September 2009). I added some lace around the pillow (which was done on white satin) and a pink bow. Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to take a picture of it with the rings tied to the pillow; but they were tied on, and it looked wonderful. Everyone commented about the gorgeous pillow and when they found out I made it, everyone was very impressed. I was truly delighted with the results and wanted to take a moment and thank you personally for enabling me to pass on a true heirloom to my son and daughter-in-law.
I have purchased several of your designs (Battenburg lace Christmas ornaments) and was delighted with those as well. When I found the heart design on your website, I knew I could count on quality workmanship, and I was not disappointed. Your designs are some of the most beautiful I have encountered. The FSL Heart stitched out quickly and your directions were easy to follow. I actually had to make the pillow twice because I messed up on the first one (the fabric folded underneath the hoop when I was stitching out the date) and ruined my first attempt. Luckily your design stitched out so quickly (with perfect results both times) I was able to make another pillow front in no time.
Again, I just wanted to let you know that your design on the ring bearer’s pillow was a huge hit at the wedding and I will be forever grateful to you for passing on your talents for the rest of us to enjoy.
Thank you again,
Gwen Radford
